Mind Rot Records

With a long overdue update comes the addition of Mind Rot Records, from Richmond, Virginia, USA. In the words of label owner Judge, Mind Rot is about "releasing great records from any kind of band that we like and are into"
Mind Rot has a few releases under their belt from Teenage Gluesniffers, and Nowhere Fast; with an upcoming hardcore release that will be announced around the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011.

You can check Mind Rot Records out at their webstore, on Facebook and Twitter.
There will be a blog coming in the future as well.

Thanks again to Judge and Mind Rot Records for their interest in DistroDirectory!

Mind Melt Enterprises

First update in awhile, and featured in this update is Mind Melt Enterprises from Grapeview, WA.
Mindmelt is not just a label featuring releases from Bully, Breaking Ground, and Putrid Brew; but also offers design services for flyers, etc and recently have added cassette duplication, at relatively cheap rates to their list.

As a point of interest, Jesse, who runs Mind Melt designed the crimson ghost rip for my label/distro's logo, which I will post further down.
I've also made personal orders from them, and recently a distro trade, which have all been great.

We Are Pretentious Assholes

3
I was browsing B9 the other day and came across a thread about zines, and noticed this blog was linked in it. I checked it out, and I like the idea a lot, so I asked the owner if he would be interested in being on this blog.

"We Are Pretentious Assholes" comes from Canada's capital city, Ottawa, Ontario.

"I've been working on the We Are Pretentious Assholes project since late 2009. It was originally envisioned to be a zine about record collecting, but instead began as a blog in order to create and maintain momentum. After months of procrastination and distraction, the first zine is out, limited to 100 copies. It comes with the new Germ Attak 7", Death to Cops, has an interview with Pink Eyes (Fucked Up), and other ramblings.

The initial idea of the concept had shifted, as I believed I was looking at records too superficial, and so the newer writings are an attempt to examine records more in depth, rather than just looking at pressing information. I hope to have a second issue out by the end of summer that matches this description much more. Thank for any interest, and make sure to check the blog."
